Welcome to the Bull City Battalion and the Department of Military Science at Duke University!
The Duke University Army ROTC program provides training in military leadership to full-time students of Duke University and North Carolina Central University. The Department strives to impart its students with the knowledge and skills necessary to be effective leaders in both military and civilian environments. Upon successful completion of the Army ROTC curriculum, students will receive a Commission as an Officer in the Army with an obligation to serve in the Active Army, Army National Guard or Army Reserve.
