Army ROTC High School ( 3 or 4 year) scholarships
This scholarship is for high school seniors who are planning to attend college as a freshmen the fall following their senior year of high school.
The scholarship pays for the following:
Full tuition and fees OR room and board (room an board up to $10,000 per semester)
$600 per semester book allowance
A tax-free monthly stipend of $300 for freshmen, $350 for sophomores, $450 for juniors and $500 seniors for the 10 academic months per school year

Criteria:
1. Be a US Citizen
2. Be 17 by October of the semester you are entering college, and no older than 30 by your expected commissioning date
3. Have a minimum high school GPA of 2.5
4. Be a high schools graduate
5. Score a minimum of 920 on the SAT and 19 of the ACT, Math and Verbal scores only
6. Have no moral or personal conviction that will prevent you from:

8. Pass a physical
Reserve Forces Scholarships:
For students who desire to serve their country, but not on in a full-time capacity, there is the option for a Guaranteed Reserve Forces Duty Scholarship. Reserve Forces are classified as the Army Reserve and the Army National Guard. Those in the Reserve and National Guard serve part time: one weekend a month and two weeks in the summer, thereby allowing them to continue with their education or pursue and civilian career. there are several variants of this scholarship that are available to those interested in only serving in a reserve capacity:
-Dedicated National Guard Scholarship (2 or 3 years)
-Dedicated Reserve Scholarship ( 2 or 3 years)
-Guaranteed Reserve Forces Duty Scholarship (GRFD) (2 years)
This scholarship is for those currently enrolled Full-time at Duke University or North Carolina Central University. The base requirements are similar to the High School Scholarship:
Criteria:
1. Must be a US Citizen
2. Must be older than 17 and no older than 30 on the day of commissioning
3. Have a minimum college GPA of 2.5
4. Score at least a 920 on the SAT or 19 on the ACT
5. Have no moral conviction against bearing arms
6. Must pass a criminal background check
7. Must pass a Department of Defense Physical Exam
Other Scholarships
Other scholarships are occasionally available, such as for those Duke and NCCU students majoring in a critical foreign language, or those studying Science Technology Engineering or Math.
