Duke / NCCU Army ROTC offers several special programs that provide scholarship opportunities to students.
- Simultaneous Member Program - The Army ROTC SMP is a program in which Senior ROTC (contracted) Cadets, sophomores through graduate students, simultaneously serve as members of the Army National guard or Reserves.
- Nursing Program - The Army ROTC Nursing Program is a specialized path that allows you to earn a college degree and a commission as an Army Nurse Corps Officer simultaneously. Upon graduation, you'll enter active duty as a Second Lieutenant (2LT), serving as a registered nurse in an Army medical facility.
- Foreign Language and STEM Scholarships are special programs for students studying foreign languages or science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
